- How can one refrain from violating FERPA guidelines in online communication? It is important to remember not to share any important information (grades, IEP, etc.) that is confidential through an online setting.
- What methods could be employed to verify that copyright is not being violated? Check all sites to see if copyright laws are included. Be sure not to infringe on them if posted. Also, making sure resources are cited when necessary. Taking the work of others and posting it as your own is still a copyright infringement.
- Does copyright require that all work, images, words, and graphics must be original? Not all are copyright protected. It is important to know which are and which are not. Teachers sometimes have permission to use certain works with a certain amount of students within their class for a limited amount of time.
