Create 2.1.2 Using Web 2.0 Tools to Differentiate Teacher Instruction Quest

I created a scrapbook page with Glogster about the different explorers studied in 4th grade Social Studies.  The standard requires students to learn about six different European explorers focusing on their reasons for exploring, obstacles faced while exploring, and accomplishments of their exploration endeavors.  It is important for students to be provided this information in a neat, orderly manner.  In the past, students have created folders filled with information such as timelines, trading cards, maps, and graphic organizers.  By using Glogster, I was able to put this information in one concise format.  Giving students the opportunity to create this electronically would expand their ownership and increase their interest on the topic, therefore increasing their knowledge retention!
